The Role: The Senior Account Executive will prospect, identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within his/her assigned territory. This position requires interaction with other internal departments such as Inside Sales, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and Customer Success. Join an elite team of Sales Professionals that sell Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients!

Location: Candidates must reside in Houston, Austin, or Dallas, Texas.  This role requires being based in one of these metro areas, with regular in-person client and team engagements.

Your Focus:

The Senior Account Executive will prospect, identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within his/her assigned territory.       
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Sell Strategy Business Intelligence software products and services to new and existing clients   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Identify and properly qualify business opportunities   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Present business solutions at the executive level   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Work with sales consultants to discover, identify and meet customer requirements   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Provide project management to ensure the success of the potential or current clients   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Leverage and enhance partner relationships to drive additional value and revenue  
\n\t

\n\n

Qualifications

\n\n

\n\t
Bachelor's degree  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
At least 5 years of professional selling experience in enterprise technology sales   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Experience with selling Analytics or Business Intelligence required  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Additional experience with Cloud, Mobile, Big Data, or Social Media optional but preferred  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Successful experience at new account development or large account management   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Experience and training in a value-based enterprise sales methodology (Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, etc)  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Ability to track activity in Salesforce   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
High levels of social perceptiveness and customer service   
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Self-driven, motivated and results oriented  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills  
\n\t

\n\n

Desired experience and skills (These will accelerate your success):

Enterprise software sales experience.  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Understanding of sales cycles and sales methodologies.  
\n\t

\n\n

\n\t
Familiarity with lead generation tools and Salesforce.
